My name is Jude Martinez, Founder and Curator of Jude Martinez Art & Design, and I am a self-taught artist from Northwest Arkansas. The culture, community, and creativity of this region have profoundly shaped my perspective. I explore layering and overlays to push the boundaries of my practice, creating artwork that delves into visual depth while conveying meaning and narrative.

  • Received the Patriot Award for the 3rd District Congressional Art Competition for my acrylic painting “Humility in Pursuit of Success” from Congressman Steve Womack.

  • “Mouth in Charcoal” receiving a Gold Key from Scholastic Art and Writing Awards and being displayed at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art. June 2026 to November 2026.

  • Received Third Place in the Inaugural High School Art Competition for my oil painting “The Assumption” from John Brown University

  • Chosen to participate in the inaugural Teen Market, celebrating emerging artists at the annual Crystal Bridges Art Fair.

  • “For Until Sorrow, One Still Remains,” showcased at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art and nationally judged in New York City. The reference photograph for this piece also received Honorable Mention in the AYAA competition.

  • “Evolution,” exhibited at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art and the Historic Cane Hill Museum, recognizing excellence in artistic achievement.
